Abstract:

This study discusses a conceptual model for designing an on-site management control system. Capabilities of this proposed Site Operations Control System (SOCS) include a mechanism for remote access to management information as well as to centralized management decision support. Unique features for handling project management data and computer-aided-design data are characteristic of the model computer environment, which incorporates expert system technology, and a scripting technology for user-friendly access to site knowledge
