Abstract:

Recent advances in the area of field testing for the quantification of hydraulic conductivity have resulted in improved site characterization of aquifer hydraulics and greater reliability in computer model simulation. The application of several new techniques to a field site is described. The importance and feasibility of short-term tracer testing in contaminated aquifers is also discussed.
