Abstract:

Imperial Irrigation District (IID) and Metropolitan Water District (MWD) have entered into a Water Conservation Agreement to conserve 106, 110 acre-feet (1.31 ? 108 m3) of water annually through the implementation of a series of projects designed to reduce canal seepage, canal spill, and on-farm irrigation losses. The amount of water conserved will be available for use by MWD at its diversion point upstream on the Colorado River.
