Abstract: Drainage water was collected by subsurface drains and reapplied to half of a drained alfalfa field in Fallon, Nevada, during the 1989 irrigation season. Irrigation district water was applied to the other half of the field. The drainage water quality was analyzed for plant tolerance. The drainage water did not violate irrigation guidelines.
