Abstract:

For the installation of a hydroelectric project at the Corps of Engineer's Abiquiu Dam in New Mexico, outlet works modifications that would not affect the structural integrity, safety, or operation of the existing facility were performed. This paper presents a description of the outlet works modifications and a discussion of the principal design and construction considerations.
