Abstract:

Environmentally sustainable development denotes a balanced approach with appropriate consideration for environmental protection. The successes achieved in the development of five diverse water resource projects over the past twenty years are discussed. Success is attributed to the sensitivity and creativity of interdisciplinary teams in responding to environmental mandates.
