Abstract:

The DQE-GPU joint project is an endeavor at supplying electricity to its customers in an economically competative way. The project cosists of using existing power stations in the Three Mile Island and Beaver Valley area and re-opening the Phillips Power Station. The only costruction needed will be a $450 million dollar transmission line and a new substation consisting of transformers and regulators. The total output of the new plant will be 500 MW.
