by John G. Harman, Progressive Engineering Consultants, Fairfax, United States,

Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Hydraulic Engineering

Abstract:

The Decoverly Office Park is located in Rockville, MD. In 1984, engineering design on the seven office building park and pond was begun by the consulting engineers. From the beginning, the developers, Mulligan-Griffin Associates, expressed a desire for the lake to be the showcase of the project. At the same time, Montgomery County urged design of a regional storm water management lake on the site by offering to participate in the construction costs. The resulting design was a facility that accomplished all desires.
