Abstract: This paper discusses the calibration procedures used for a model study of three miles (5km) of the Arkansas River. A hydro-power station will be added to an existing Corps of Engineers (COE) project, Lock and Dam No. 13, and the overall objective of the study was to determine if operation of the powerhouse would have any effects on sediment patterns in the river.
