Stability Analysis in Bracing and Support Designby S.. T. Mau, Univ of Houston, United States,
Document Type: Proceeding Paper
Part of: Steel Structures
Abstract: A post-buckling stability analysis is carried out for struts with multiple elastic lateral supports. Both hinged-end and fixed-end conditions are considered. A criterion of sufficient support stiffness is derived from the stability of the post-buckling path of the struts.
