Abstract:

The paper discusses the Texas Instruments' Personal Consultant Series of expert system development tools, a versatile set of compatible tools for the expert system developer. It provides a variety of functionality from the low end PC Easy to the high end PC+ with the add-on packages PC Images and PC Online. The abbreviated rule language aids the novice and expert user in knowledge base rule entry. The expert has a wealth of LISP functions at his disposal and the ability to create his own to enhance and expand his knowledge base. Series components and applications are described.
