Abstract: This paper presents an overview of the state-of-the-art of grouting as a technique for mine subsidence control. A review of some aspects of grouting theory is presented, and illustrative case histories are discussed. Limitations and factors underlying the successful application of grouting as a technique for controlling mine subsidence are presented.
