Long-Range Forecasts of Water-Supplies

by George N. Newhall,

Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Engineering Hydrology

Abstract:

Many engineers and water-users have an urgent need for reliable predictions of future rainfall and water supplies, extending many months or years ahead. Correlation of known historic rainfall patterns with predictable sunspot cycles and meteor-dust dates are shown to assist such predictions, and give evidence of a current multi-year drought.
