Analytical Simulation of Bulk Water Supply Network Reliabilityby Steven Gordon, Case Western Reserve Univ, Cleveland, OH, USA,
Benjamin F. Hobbs, Case Western Reserve Univ, Cleveland, OH, USA,
Abstract: The authors present an analytical method for estimating failure probabilities for a bulk water supply network with spatially dispersed supply, demand, and storage. The method examines the most likely capacity deficit states and calculates whether storage is sufficient to meet demand during those periods.
