Abstract:

Simulation of mud transport processes is adequately achieved by using the unsteady advection-diffusion equation along with the appropriate source and sink terms. The effects of selective deposition and bed consolidation are both incorporated into the model. Solutions are presented in eigenseries form by applying a finite integral transformation.
