Abstract:

The requirements of a high technology owner are best represented by a set of expectations and goals that are needed to achieve a certain business plan. There are extreme time pressures to maintain competitive advantage and technical excellence. While most people consider the clean environment and high technology business primarily that of mechanical design, the civil/structural profession is a key contributor to the overall implementation of this type of facility.
