Abstract:

This paper presents a review of the design and construction of a facility in Arcadia, California, to remove trichloroethylene (TCE) and tetrachlorethylene (PCE) from groundwater. The City of Arcadia is located in Southern California, approximately 15 miles east of Los Angeles. Subjects covered include removal alternatives, packed tower design, pilot plant operation, and others.
