Abstract:

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) performed a study on 'special water treatment'. The main goal of the project was to assess in detail the technology for removal and monitoring of volatile and/or synthetic compounds. This article reports the activities carried out in the study. Two technologies are described: carbon absorption and air stripping.
