Abstract:

A hydrogeologic investigation of a municipal waste landfill determined that the local surface and ground water are being polluted. Water quality monitoring and aerial photography were used in determining the extent of the plume and its significance. The results of the investigation and the groundwater parameters at different wells are presented.
