Abstract:

The dual hoist container crane has proven to be substantially more productive than conventional container cranes. Virginia Port Authority has purchased three new dual hoist cranes with unique features that will enable its terminal operator, Virginia International Terminals, Inc. , to satisfy productivity requirements of the major steamship companies that will use the Port of Hampton Roads as a load center port.
