Abstract:

A new concrete material model based on a modified Mohr-Coulomb criterion is proposed for the nonlinear analysis of reinforced concrete panels. Emphases are made on the softening behavior after the concrete is cracked or crushed. Examples of shear walls and floor slab were analyzed under both monotonic and cyclic loadings and compared with experimental results.
