Abstract:

Utilizing both proven and innovative construction techniques, equipment, and design concepts, Tyger Construction Company Inc. , located in Spartanburg, South Carolina, has undertaken the construction of the Upper Stillwater Roller Compacted Concrete Dam Project. Due to the potential cost and schedule advantages of roller compacted concrete over conventional formed concrete, the successful construction of the project and the methods developed during construction, may influence heavy construction for many years.
