Abstract:

The 3rd draft of the Regulation for the Coastal Zone Management of Jiangsu Province has been worked out and is being examined by the Provincial People's Government. The coastal law is a legal system, not a single law. This system consists of some vertical levels and some horizontal parts. The vertical levels are: Law of coastal zone management at national level; regulations of the coastal provinces, municipalities and the autonomous region; rules for the implementation of the coastal cities and countries.
