Moving Society's Wastes Through the Coastal Zoneby Henry S. Marcus, MIT, Cambridge, MA, USA,
Maurice A. Glucksman, MIT, Cambridge, MA, USA,
Abstract: This paper considers the use of incinerator ships for the destruction of liquid hazardous waste. Needless to say, such a system requires movement of wastes through the coastal zone. This paper presents a brief description of a normative planning process (in the opinion of the authors) for such a disposal system.
