Abstract:

There are numerous erosion control and inlet sand transfer projects, both publicly and privately financed, along eroded or eroding shores throughout the State of Florida. The Florida Department of Natural Resources, in part through a grant from the Federal Office of Coastal Zone Management, has recently completed a study which establishes monitoring standards and reporting formats for monitoring of erosion control and inlet dredging projects.
