Abstract:

This paper provides an overview of application of toxicological procedures to estimate health risks posed by hazardous materials in the environment. Emphasis will be placed on information sources and shortcut formulas which the non-toxicologist can utilize to put hazards into perspective and estimate the magnitude of potential risks.
