Abstract:

This paper provides a systematic approach to establishing a maintenance management program for environmental infrastructure. It begins by discussing the definition of program objectives, together with maintenance standards and criteria. The assessment of the current condition of the infrastructure and the analysis of the inspection data gathered is then addressed. Finally, the development of a maintenance plan in keeping with the program objectives, and the implementation of that plan are covered. (Author abstract. )
