Abstract:

The author has developed a graphic procedure for analyzing the hydraulic behavior of settling tanks. Data have been used in numerous cases to devise low cost in-tank and external improvements which increase solids capture. A description of the test methodology and several examples of tank improvements are described. (Author abstract. )
