Abstract:

A planning methodology to assess the impact of stormwater runoff on streams in Vermont is demonstrated. The methodology, which is based on a statistical representation of runoff and stream characteristics, was originally developed by EPA's Nationwide Urban Runoff Program and is tested independently in this work. The results of the analysis lead to proposals for streamlining the stormwater permit process in the State of Vermont. (Author abstract. )
