Abstract:

SRC Steelframe reinforced concrete structures were utilized on several station buildings for the Japanese National Railways bullet trains. This paper presents an outline of the dimensions of those buildings, representative structural details, and examples of the relationship between temperature changes and deformation in some of the buildings.
