Abstract: The papers in this publication cover the general theme of civil and structural engineering as they are applied to nuclear facilities. Traditional topics include seismic analysis, impactive and impulsive loads and embedments. Other subjects covered in relation to nuclear facilities include pipeline supports, electrical supports and HVAC duct and duct support systems, masonry walls, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's systematic evaluation program, computer aided design, data base management systems, desiggn control and quality assurance, probabilistic risk assessment, containment capability, spent fuel and radioactive waste storage, and structural issues in breeder reactor design.
