Document Type: Proceeding Paper

Part of: Dredging and Dredged Material Disposal

Abstract:

Training is very important in those cases where the skill of personnel is not adequate to make optimal use of dredging equipment. This holds for management staff as well as for operating staff. As the required skill depends on the advancement of technology, training should keep step with new developments. Training should be adapted to the existing knowledge of its participants and to the specific needs of a dredging organization.
