Abstract:

A case history of pile foundation design and construction for Pacific Bell's San Ramon Valley Administrative Complex is presented. Dynamic monitoring of driven piles with a pile driving analyzer and static load tests were used to estimate pile capacities. Conclusions regarding the application of pile driving analysis using dynamic monitoring methods for foundation design are summarized.
