Abstract:

The total federal government investment for the Southern Nevada Water Project is $171,332,000. The project is one of the largest water resources solutions applied in the U.S. today and serves a population of over 400,000 in an arid region stricken by water depletion. Continued growth over the last few decades spurred investment and development of technical solutions to the water shortage.
