Abstract: The second article in the computer series instructs engineers how to write a simple program for a small computer in their own offices. The instructions follow a program step-by-step, and this program has been tested on several computer systems including the TRS-80, Tektronix 4050 Series and the Apple. What happens while the program is running is explained.
