Abstract:

Efficient application of irrigation water depends upon many variables, including precise control of the rate and volume of application. Although devices are available for volumetrically measuring and controlling water, particularly for closed-conduit flow, the most simple flow control is achieved by maintaining a constant flow to the farm.
