Abstract:

Civil Engineering Management is both an art and a science. A knowledge of the technology of civil engineering management will help the young engineer up the management ladder. This article gives a brief description of some books and periodicals that will guide the engineer in studying the fundamentals of management at home. The books cover such topics as finance, accounting, auditing, controls, evaluations, taxation, economy, law, estimating, CPM, dynamic cost control, communication, labor relations, human relations, management by objectives and related topics.
