Abstract: Several changes in ASCE policy and procedure are proposed for purposes of increasing student interest and membership in the ASCE. Student members should be placed on the Society's membership rolls, listed in the membership directory, and made eligible for ASCE group insurance. Student officers should be listed in the ASCE Official Register and given a copy of the Official Register. Students should be made aware of the Society's free publications and permitted to obtain proceedings papers at no charge. Such a program should result in an increased student membership and in a larger, stronger ASCE.
