Abstract: This note presents details of design modifications to a U.S. Bureau of Reclamation impact basin. These modifications to the basin are intended for its possible application as a canal structure. The pipe outlet structure's original design is presented as well as the modified design. The point velocities of each scenario at the basin's exit are compared.
