The analytical plotter, model AP/C, is a highly precise photogrammetric instrument used as an investigating or engineering tool, or both. Civil engineers utilized the instrument in the interest of economy for cross-sectioning, right-of-way determination, control extension, topographic plots, and planimetric plots for both preliminary and final surveys. A general outlines is presented of a suggested way for the highway engineer to utilize the instrument as a tool in planning highway construction.
