Nonlinear force-deformation relations are obtained for members of two-dimensional framed structures. The relations are useful in studies involving the stability of frames and the nonlinear behavior of elastic framed structures. The force-deformation relations are obtained in approximate, series, and closed forms. Also, solutions are given that include the influence of concentrated and uniform loads along the member.
