Model Studies of a Peripheral Feed Settling Tankby Rudy J. TeKippe,
Serial Information: Journal of the Sanitary Engineering Division, 1968, Vol. 94, Issue 1, Pg. 85-102
Document Type: Journal Paper
This paper deals with the problem of obtaining reproducible results from identical experiments using dye dispersion curves to evaluate the hydraulic efficiency of tanks. Several techniques of defining and improving reproducibility of such experiments are given. These improved techniques were used to test changes in hydraulic performance resulting from changes in the geometric design of the model.
