The results of six full-scale crash tests of highway sign supports are presented. High speed motion picture cameras, accelerometers, displacement transducers, radar, and strain gages were used to obtain test data. Emphasis is placed on methods of data reduction. The various transducers and data reduction techniques are evaluated for their reliability.
