An electronic analog model of the Delta Region of California has been constructed for use in analyzing the distribution of net flow in the channels that will be carrying California Water Plan water southward in the state. A general description of the analog and the theory on which it operates is given, together with a description of a three-component synthetic tide waveform generator used to simulate the tide. An example is given of its use to determine the distribution of net flows at junctions as it is affected by tidal pumping.
