Analysis of a Two-Layer Viscoelastic Systemby David C. Kraft,
Serial Information: Journal of the Engineering Mechanics Division, 1965, Vol. 91, Issue 6, Pg. 129-144
Document Type: Journal Paper
The theory of stresses and displacements in a two-layer linear viscoelastic medium is defined for quasi-static loading, full continuity at the layer interface, and variable material compressibility. Several illustrative cases are presented to show the influence of the material property parameters on the time-dependent surface deflection.
