Serial Information: Journal of the Pipeline Division, 1963, Vol. 89, Issue 1, Pg. 1-6

Document Type: Journal Paper

Abstract: Inconsistencies between regulatory codes and unduly restrictive conditions in pipeline design and construction, as regulated by various governmental agencies, have created costly problems. Current regulations were compiled and abstracted in two progress reports previously issued by this committee (Proc. Papers 2025 and 2204). A joint conference is recommended to promote cooperative action leading to uniform adoption by regulatory bodies of applicable ASA standards.
