Buckling of structures under assumption of their being shear buildings is considered with imaginary spring imposed at each floor level; first mode of buckling and maximum eigenvalue are calculated by flexibility method with usual iteration techniques, from which minimum buckling load is determined; graph showing buckling load against number of stories of building.
