Abstract: The engineer designing sanitary facilities is faced with a multitude of different manufactured, predesigned package, sewage treatment plants, each with its high-pressure salesmen. The Florida State Board of Health studied and compared the performances of several different manufacturers' units. However, limited data prevented the determination of a superior unit. The results are presented of some of the different types of plants that have been installed and that are currently (1962) being operated.
