Study of roughness characteristics of high quality concrete pipe of 6 in., 8 in., and 12 in. diam; full flow conditions were determined with just slight pressure head existing on lines; Manning roughness factor studied under steady uniform and steady nonuniform flow and related to partial depth of flow, Reynolds number, and Froude number; discharge conditions are related to partial depths of flow; design recommendations.
