Abstract: Cohesion-friction-strain tests designed to permit determination of strain variation of mobilization of c and Phi components from test using single specimen; investigation of validity of tests by comparing results from one specimen CFS tests with results from identical tests using 2 specimens; paper includes 14 comparisons, involving 9 different normally consolidated soils.
